http://forum2.aimoo.com/MadeleineMcCann/Monday-April-30th/Monday-Statements-1-951139.htmlhttp://themaddiecasefiles.com/post437.html#p437May, 7th 2007 Jeremy Wilkins deposition We were placed into the apartment within block G4, apartment JMO on letter O. There are about 15 to 20 apartments within each block. The McCann family was within the next block. On Monday 30th, April, 2007 I joined the tennis lessons provided by Mark Warner, the tour operator. There were five pairs. There were 3 females and a male, I found to be Jerry. He was white of pale complexion, about 5’10’’ to 6’ 00’’ with a soft Glasgwian accent. He has dark hair which was short. He was of athletic build. As part of the lesson we were paired off together. We engaged on general conversation, mainly about tennis, and football. I got the impression that he was good company, gregarious and chatty. The tennis lessons longed about an hour. We were signed for four (4) lessons in total. I can’t recall if I saw Jerry again that day.
LEICESTERSHIRE CONSTABULARY OFFICER’S REPORT
Jeremy Wilkins Date: 05/11/07 During the evening of Wednesday 31 October 2007, Jeremy and Bridget were visited at heir home address by DC 1756 and DC 4356 from the Leicestershire OP Task team:
Jeremy first met Gerry at a tennis coaching session held by staff associated with the Mark Warner resort on the first Monday of their holiday (30/05/07). He found Gerry to be amicable and willing to chat. He paired with Gerry for part of the lesson and described him as “Good company if not a little gregarious”.
He did not meet up with Gerry or any of the group again until Tues 1 May 07. This was again during a tennis session and it was at this time he met some of the group and realized that the people he met on the Plane were indeed part of the group.
Date: 8 April 2008 Jez Wilkins Relative to my familiarity with Gerry and Kate; I got to know them on Monday, 30th of April 2007 when I arrived at the tennis lesson. I had booked lessons and believed that Gerry had done the same. I believe that Kate was with Gerry before the first lesson but did not play.

. So during the week, you played tennis with Gerry about three times'
SC: Ah ha.
DCF: On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, it says here that you got on well, that he communicated easily, he was fun, he talked to you about golf which was his favourite sport, that he wanted to improve his tennis during the week. On Sunday or Monday he twisted his ankle, but managed to keep on playing, and on Sunday morning he only played tennis with Kate, that you saw them both playing sport and they passed by you to the bar on the beach and this was Sunday or Monday at about mid day.
SC: Mmm, mmm.
DCF: And you saw both Gerry and Kate at the Tapas Bar on Sunday and afterwards on Thursday in the evening, apart from these occasions you just saw them in passing at the resort and you had no opportunity to get to know Kate'
SC: No.

Fiona and David spent morning on beach, after dropping children off, sailing with another chap. It was cold. They wore short wetsuits and returned when it was time to pick up the children.
We know that the creche records show Kate dropping Madeleine off at 3.15pm then drops the twins off at 3.25pm and picks up Madeleine at 3.30pm. There is no record regarding what time the twins were picked up. http://madeleinemccann.aimoo.com/Creche-Records-Timeline/Creche-Table-1-762790.html

This looks very odd, especially as they were around the Ocean Club to shuffle the kids to and from the crèches. On this afternoon, Madeleine remained in the crèche for only 15 minutes and was picked up by her mother at 15.30. We do not know what Madeleine did for the rest of the day, but it is possible she was being fractious. Interestingly, a friend of Mrs and Mr McCann supposedly told the “Dispatches” team that made a TV program on the tragedy, that “Madeleine was a screamer”. This could be interpreted in one of two ways, but any use of the past tense in referring to Madeleine would be very significant. It was such a past tense referral, to her supposedly living children, that alerted the FBI to their murder by Susan Smith, their mother

MO So Monday would have been the first proper holiday day. Erm, in the mornings we, G***e, Rachael and I always had breakfast at the Millennium, apart from the day I was feeling, erm, feeling funny. And I think we were the, I think we saw Jane most days.

Kate took Madeleine back into Lobsters, then dropped off the twins and then had to go back to pull Madeleine out 15 mins later. (Ella not signed out that afternoon) The McCanns are believed to have visited Sagres -which is on the country's southwest tip and effectively the "Land's End" of mainland Europe -on Monday, April 30.
A shopkeeper in the town said she remembered them well.
She said: "On the road into the town, Kate was holding Madeleine's hand. On the other side of the road was Gerry with a baby buggy.
"I remember thinking it odd to see him with a baby buggy because I thought the little girl was too old to need one."
She said it was the same day as the stranger taking photographs, although other witnesses said that happened two days later. Arbiter states the timings as:
In at 3.15, out at 3.35
So was the family trip to Sagres just another myth - linking it to the story of the couple taking photographs on the beach?

8.00pm 9.00pm 10.00pm 11.00pm MIDNIGHT (Message edited by TinLizzy On 04/11/2010 11:53 AM) usertype:1 MATTHEW ROGATORYhttp://forum2.aimoo.com/MadeleineMcCann/Timetables-from-ROGATORY-interviews/MATTHEW-OLDFIELD-Rogatory-Weekly-Timetable-1-817080.htmlSo Monday would have been the first proper holiday day. Erm, in the mornings we, G***e, Rachael and I always had breakfast at the Millennium, apart from the day I was feeling, erm, feeling funny. And I think we were the, I think we saw Jane most days. Gerry and Kate came the first, I think came the first day, or maybe the evening, but then started making their breakfast all the time, because they had three kids to get there and the Millennium was a good ten minute walk along roads with sort of, where you had to actually cross into the road to get round because of obstructions on the pavement and there was quite a lot of sort of fast, although it wasn’t sort of like a busy road, but the traffic that did come occasionally came through quite fast, so it was quite a long, erm, a long walk to get there, so they decided that it wasn’t worth the hassle and they would just eat and have breakfast in their apartment, so they certainly didn’t eat there after that first day, if they made it the first day, I think the group did eat the first day. Erm, what I did on Monday, I don’t know, I would have tried to get out on the water at some point and I’m sure we’d have played tennis”.-------------------- I think we just had sort of three, sort of two or three, erm, proper tennis lessons”. 4078 “Do you remember when they were?” Reply “Erm, I know there was one on the last Thursday, because it got moved over from Wednesday, because Wednesday it rained and Thursday was a pretty decent day for weather, erm, so it would probably have been, if I’m thinking it’s three, it would probably have been Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, but I can’t remember”.

Rachael Mampilly Rogatoryhttp://forum2.aimoo.com/MadeleineMcCann/Timetables-from-ROGATORY-interviews/RACHAEL-MAMPILLY-OLDFIELD-Rogatory-Timetable-1-809425.htmlAnd then the evening yes, so on that, cos the Sunday night had worked well with us sort of eating dinner as adults and you know just going back to check on the children, erm that, but at the Tapas, they said they, you could only book in the morning, you couldn’t kind of block book or anything like that, you had to kind of call them at you know, eight or nine o’clock and say that you wanted a table for that night, erm and because we were a big group of nine, erm I begged and pleaded with them to let us book for the whole week, a table at eight thirty every night, erm”. 00.36.51 1578 “When did you do that”? Reply “Because otherwise”. 1578 “No sorry, when”? Reply “Oh when, that was on the Monday morning, erm because you know otherwise we, it would have just been really difficult to, well have a, have dinner in peace and erm, er you know we couldn’t really have gone anywhere else cos oh yeah, we’d have had, I’d have to take the children or put them, there was a like a crèche you could put them in, in the evening when you went to dinner but you know we were all kind of, you know the kids generally go to bed at seven thirty and they’re tired out, they need to sleep but if they went somewhere else, they wouldn’t have slept and erm, and you would have been up late, so we didn’t want to do that and you know the Tapas was there and you know the apartment, you know we could see the apartments just there, you know it was only sort of you know, birds eye view was only sort of you know, thirty metres or something like that, so erm and you know, and we kept going and checking, so that seemed like kind of a good option”. 1578 “So there was this rigorous checking procedure”? Reply “Yes, yeah every night”.
so Monday I mean Matt, Matt was better, erm were we, can’t remember what we did particularly, erm we played tennis a bit, we didn’t have any group lessons Matt and I, we had a private lesson I think,
I think before that, we just sort of knocked around on the tennis courts, erm with everyone else and everyone else was having group lessons
we’d always get her at twelve or half twelve, whatever it was, I think it went ‘til half twelve, so you know pick her up between those times and then after that Sunday, every day after that we ate, we all had lunch in erm Dave and Fi’s apartment, erm it was you know, pasta or something for the kids and Diane would make sandwiches for all of us”. 1578 “What time would that lunch period be”? Reply “It, erm about one really, by the time those kids were actually eating, it was probably about one-ish, so between one and two,
Gerry and Kate didn’t come up and have lunch there, erm because the twins didn’t sleep in the afternoon, so they’d often you know, take a picnic and go down to the beach erm. I remember one, I think it might have been on the Monday that they came up to Dave and Fi’s after, sort of after lunch but otherwise they did their own thing at lunch time and the rest of us went up to Dave and Fi’s apartment and the kids had lunch there and you know we’d have a bite to eat as well and then we’d take, ”.
we’d take G***e down for a sleep and you know, so she was generally sleeping between two and four there, which is a bit later really than she normally does in the UK
(NOTE: THEY DIDN'T GO TO TENNIS SUNDAY MONDAY?
after about the first, you know the Sunday and Monday night, nobody had really turned up and we said that we’d like to go but it wasn’t a great time for us cos it was bath time and getting the kids ready for bed, so we asked them if they could move it forward, erm so they said they couldn’t sort of bring it forward to five thirty but I think they brought it forward to six o’clock
Monday night we were both at the table, erm and we just took turns”. 1578 “And did you wear watches”? Reply “Yes”. 1578 “So would your checks have been time based or meal based”? Reply “Yeah, erm well I mean they kind of felt like they were every sort of twenty minutes or so, but they were probably more meal base, it wasn’t a you know, we need to go check in five minutes, it was oh well, you know we’ve been sitting here a while, let’s go and check, erm I mean you know it wasn’t kind of rigid and”. 1578 “So you tried to consciously go every twenty minutes or so”? Reply “Yeah, I mean there could have been”. 1578 “But there may have been some, some sort of overlap on the times”? Reply “Yeah, mmm yeah”. 1578 “To try and fit in with the serving”? Reply “Yeah the food and yes, mmm yeah”. 1578 “Okay, and when you went to check on G***e, what sort of checks would you conduct”? Reply “Erm well we’d go into the room, which ordinarily we wouldn’t do to be honest, erm but she seemed to have diarrhoea and kind of, I mean she’d settled quite well actually cos she’d been tired every evening, erm but every morning when she woke up, she had diarrhoea and it had gone right through her grow bag and so there’s all of this sort of horrendous smell, so in the evenings when we were checking, we’d go into the room just to see if you know, there was any sort of smell yet, erm and just to make sure she was alright, to make sure she hadn’t been sick, partly I think cos Matt had been sick, just wanted to make sure that she hadn’t been, in case it was some sort of bug”. 1578 “Okay, and the route taken”? Reply “Was up the road and then in through the car park at the back and in through the front door”. 1578 “In through the front door”? Reply “Mmm yeah, I mean the patio doors were locked, erm yeah I didn’t really like going up there by myself, it was, like going through that car park was quite dark and there was never anyone around, it was a bit, you know made me feel a bit uneasy”. 1578 “Okay. What about the lighting there”? Reply “Well there were lights, there were street lights along the road as you came out of the Ocean Club, erm sort of orangey you know street lights and along the main road at the back and the car park was quite dark cos there were quite a lot of trees that were sort of on that corner, erm and so the car park was quite dark and then when you actually got, you came down a ramp, or down some steps into the sort of area in front of the apartments and erm you know they were, there were sort of lights, you press a button and they come on for a certain length of time, so you know, you put those on to get to the front door, it wasn’t pitch black but I’m not keen on the dark anyway so erm”.
