To achieve the presumption of innocence there has to be a lot of planning.
From the first moment..everything that is 'said and 'done' has a reason behind it to distract from the truth.
The power of suggestion seems to be the route they have taken.....
It has a similarity to this part of Hitlers psychological profile....
"....His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it....."
During all the discussions they have had, each 'problem' has resulted in a plan....a comment...an action
We have been watching the plan unfold, but I think many clues are within each statement...or action
Each problem they face has no doubt been discussed and a public comment allocated to that problem....so when we hear those 'out of place' contrived comments, there is no doubt a problem that they are trying to conceal.

The colour coordinated clothes always struck me as an attempt to underscore the "togetherness" of the McCanns. Also, early on he wore baby blue and she wore baby pink tops.....colours we would normally associate with innocence.
Bump. This is an interesting discussion which shouldn't be allowed to slip off the page before more people have had a chance to contribute. Maybe posters better informed than myself will remember more seemingly innocent comments which now appear planted??
Is this why they always read from a script and have never spoken from the heart
ferret..I would presume its less likely to say an 'incriminating' word or comment when you have a script....eg. Talking about her in the past tense when you say you are searching for her.

moonforest....I can't say I have noticed that but if it was a constant I would certainly wonder
I wonder if it is possible to summarise the bead thing in one paragraph? I got very confused a while ago. Was it in hair which was found, and Kate had said she'd pulled out, or something?
while I believe this may well be the case... all the planned scripts, attitude and colour co-ordinating... the point is: IT HASN'T WORKED HAS IT???
tas 2....Thanks to the power of the internet and forums like this, there is an immediate response to the lies..
There are still quite a few people that still believe in their innocence though..very often those that havent been following the case..
