Date Posted：08/10/2010 4:08 AMCopy HTML http://themaddiecasefiles.com/topic8535.html Is it just me?   There is an overwhelming belief that the T9 are uncaring, boozy, illiterate parents, (some) moonlighting as doctors.   I don't believe that is true.   I think what has happened is that the T7 have been drawn into the web of secrecy that has (for whatever reason) demanded the truth to be hidden at the expense of their character.   As I see it, they were all expecting a holiday like any of us would expect.   They took their children to spend time with them.  How difficult would it have been for them to have taken an 'adults only' holiday for a week? It's likely that they have enough resources to enable them to leave them with  grandparents or relatives for a week or make alternative arrangements if that was the case.   In Pai da Luz, Mark Warner morning or afternoon creche is free but the second one of the day is an extra charge.   http://madeleinemccann.aimoo.com/Creche-Records-Timeline/Mark-Warner-Creche-Charges-1-803564.html [quote]Ocean Club Holiday Details Ocean Club Beach Resort  Portugal     [color=#BF0000]What's included:[/color] Flights & resort transfers Accommodation Half board dining [color=#BF0000]Half day childrens clubs 2-5yrs (1yrs at an extra charge) [/color] Full day childrens clubs 6-17yrs (selected dates) 5 tennis courts Fitness & activity programme Optional Extras: [color=#BF0000]Half day childcare 1yrs - £180 per week [/color] [color=#BF0000]Full day childcare 1yrs - £360 per week Full day childcare 2-5yrs - £180 per week [/color][/quote]   Ar we to believe that the McCanns would pay an EXTRA £540 to put the children in the creche for an extra couple of hours in the afternoon?    Not something I would have expected them to do.   I do not believe they planned on that.   I do not believe that they would put the twins in a creche in the afternoon at that age knowing they need a nap that could have been watched and shared with the others and save £360 for the week.   Twins creche record for April 30th Monday is questionable http://www.gerrymccannsblogs.co.uk/CRECHE/Processo-pdf01pages108-118%20[112-120]/processopdf01page114-CrecheRecordsS.jpg   However, if something happened to Madeleine earlier in the week then everything they describe about their holiday would be to cover up the truth.   It would explain a few things....   Kate would need time to grieve...   If there was rescussitation involved (as Rachael brought up the subject) there would be time needed to clean the apartment...   If Madeleine was sick for any time they would need the twins away from the apartment...   They would need time to consider the options...   It would explain why they were not interactive with the rest of the group.   It would explain why the others were careful not to commit to specific days for the 'supposed' activities as 'other' thing were happening and needed to be 'covered' for....   It would explain why their statements contradict each other showing many discrepancies throughout the week....especially about seeing Madeleine (Rachael claims to have seen her for the last time on Thursday playng tennis  although Madeleine's group played on Tuesday...Jane claims to have been at the beach with ROB and seen her at sailing while at the same time ROB says they were both watching another mini tennis.)   It would explain why their child care arrangements appeared to be negligent (to allow for an 'abduction' to take place.)  Rachael claims that Ella had a bath in her apartment in the evening.   It would explain why the T7 went to the beach without the McCanns on Thursday...(last minute preparations)   It would explain why Fiona claims to have walked with Kate to pick up Madeleine on Thursday from the rec area when Gerry claims it was him that picked her up...Kate claims she went to the apartment first.   It would explain the late night at the tapas on Wednesay night, an hour after the waiters were finished their shift (planning the  details for Thursday's 'abduction'?)   It would explain why Tuesday had many odd occurrences like the trip to the beach which was cold and they had to return in time for Madeleine to go back there for the same thing, an ice cream trip...   etc. etc.   Maybe I am wrong...Maybe I am skeptical, but  don't believe a word about the week OR the night they 'supposedly' left the children alone...   I beleive it was a planned night with the 'abduction' to hide the truth as the grand finale and the T7, for whatever reason, made themselves look ridiculous because they had to cover for the truth.   Many will disagree with me, the prerogative of the individual, but I refuse to be caught up in the anger and disgust directed to the T7 when I believe they were doing what they thought to be the best thing and their 'reputation' has been tarnished because of it.   I believe, however, that they are guilty of being accomplices to helping the McCanns hide the truth about what happened to dear little Maddie...   I hope they can live with themselves when the truth emerges and their families lose respect for them!   (Unless they can put an end to it right now...)   Just my opinion...
