Simulated Reconstruction

Post  HiDeHo on Fri Jan 29, 2010 5:18 pm

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->I am attempting to create a Forum Style Reconstruction in Madeleine McCann Forum (scroll down page below 'header')
http://madeleinemccann.aimoo.com/Minute-By-Minute-Reconstruction/Minute-By-Minute-Simulated-Reconstruction-1-724051.html

It is a work in progress and initially is based on...

The Tapas Timeline
http://missingmadeleine.forumotion.net/case-files-statements-f26/the-tapas-timeline-t5563.htm

I will continue to add more timelines based on witness statements which will, I'm sure, ultimately highlight the main discrepancies.

Unless I become totally confused!

Feel free to let me know of any 'mistakes' not attributed to the statements.

Any help pointing me in the direction of 'Timelines' would be appreciated.

EXAMPLE:

It's my attempt at a timeline for May 3rd at the Tapas, placing T9 according to statements and timelines.

It will only get more confusing, but, ultimately, easier to pinpoint discrepancies.

Maybe.....

I will be making several timeline reconstructions from different statements (T9, waiters etc) and creating a summary of each discrepancy in an easier to view format with bigger boxes!

I am curious about the extent of their lies during that time and if there is any credibility at all. (attempting to allow for approximate times)

It is a major effort, agreed, but my curiosity warrants it.

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->We all know there are discrepancies...Some of them may be casual errors of timing.

It would surely be impossible to know all the statements from memory, but i am hoping this will highlight the 'intentional' discrepancies.

One curiosity I have is that their 'lies' may have been easily recollected during the first interviews but by the time the rogatory interviews came around, they may have forgotten the timeline of the 'lies' but will remember the timeline of the 'truth'.

I am hoping to be able to 'see' their efforts a little clearer.

I will only be using times attributed to individuals' quotes, interviews etc.

I am looking forward to it.

It'll keep me out of trouble...maybe...

Thanks Wallflower..
Unfortunately, to find the details of that night requires reading and interpreting every detail contained in their statements, only to find there is little information specific to the 'checking' times. (which is what I need to create the 'reconstruction')

What I am finding though, is a lot of discrepancies or, contrived comments about the timeline prior to their arriving at the tapas.

I am 'working' on it and will compile those comments separately as I feel they are very 'telling'.

I am noticing in the interviews that I have checked so far, that the police are very 'interested' in Monday...Maybe its nothing...There is so much detail...but focusing on every statement, trying to create the timeline, is highlighting so much that is not apparent (to me at least) when just skimming individual statements for other reasons.

(It's tough reading though!)

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->I have always felt that something happened on the Sunday or Monday, resulting in her death on Tuesday.

I have 'lost' the thread you refer to..does anyone have a link?

I have daily comparison timetables that may be of assistance

• It was normal for the men of the dining group, to get up and leave the restaurant and return minutes later. The witness is not aware of where the men were going to but that they would be gone for about 15 minutes;

Joe (UK)Jeronimo Tomas Rodrigues Salcedas
Frequently, when I served the table I noticed that one or two elements of the group had left the restaurant. I could not imagine where they had gone to. After seeing the news stories, I figured that they had gone to check on their children

RICARDO (Cebola?)
ALEXANDRE DA LUZ OLIVEIRA
• It was usual, during these dinners, for one or two persons to get up and leave for around 15 minutes and on various occasions he saw a walkie talkie (likely the Payne baby monitor) on the table. He assumed that they would leave to go check on the children in their respective rooms;

• He remembers that on the 3rd of May one of the guests who was at the table left for ten minutes, as he was about to serve their starter, and was told to hold it for a few minutes—but it was 15 minutes before this guest returned, around 21H45;
• He does not remember having seen Madeleine’s parents leave the table but it is possible that someone may have left and the witness did not see them;

I have been scrutinizing the statements to add highlights to the Hourly Timeline Tables http://madeleinemccann.aimoo.com/Comparison-Timetables-1-64869 and the Minute by Minute Reconstruction http://madeleinemccann.aimoo.com/Minute-By-Minute-Reconstruction/Minute-By-Minute-Simulated-Reconstruction-1-724051.html

Thursday Hourly Timetable http://madeleinemccann.aimoo.com/Comparison-Timetables/May-3rd-Thursday-Hourly-Timeline-Comparison-1-503751.html

Thursday night was when ROB and JT daughter was sick, in most statements, including Fiona Payne:
(Thursday)
"....the next people to leave were Matt and Russell together, erm, and that, again, I would assume is around the sort half nine mark, erm, just to fit in with the way they were checking the children. Erm, tut, and Matt, I do remember Matt coming back and saying well, you know, that ‘E**e had been sick so Russell was staying with her’, erm, and had told Jane, you know, ‘If you can kind of eat up and then go back and we’ll swap’. And I remember Jane wolfing down her main meal that had just arrived, erm, really quickly and then sort of heading back to relieve Russell. Erm, huh, I know everyone else has said this, because there was a lot of joking about Jane relieving Russell..."

She also tells about how Jane didn't go to breakfast one morning because their daughter had been sick all night. A night prior to Thursday.

"....one morning Russ was on his own, erm, with E**a, because E**e hadn’t been particularly, she had a runny nappy or something and had been up in the night and so Jane was sleeping in. I couldn’t tell you what day that was."

JANE TANNER
up late no breakfast
ROB took E&E to Mill with Matt

Fiona said ROB only with one daughter

JT said he took both to breakfast

There was no mention of their daughter being sick during the day (Thursday).

Was she sick Wednesday night (keeping Jane up and unable to go to breakfast Thursday morning) and again on Thursday night

or...

Was their daughter sick on the Wednesday and they 'used' the sequence of events for Thursday to account for ROB missing from the table for some time on Thursday night (established by waiters)...

Was he involved in something more sinister (attempting to 'jemmy' the shutters?) and Kate (according to plan) left almost immediately upon his return but hadn't been told he couldn't jemmy the shutters...Hence her proclaiming they were jemmied?

Just a thought....
