IF indeed resuscitation took place, and their friends had helped, I would imagine not all seven were involved after all not all seven are doctors.
Two or (is it three )of them were not doctors. Of the rest four or five, I dont think all of four or five were involved - one or two maybe, and if that being the case, surely their spouse were obliged to remain mumb about it to protect their partners and for self perservation reason.

On the hypothesis that Maddie fell and knocker her herself unconscious be it self caused, or due to unnecessary medication, or caused by her mum or may even her dad then surely they would panic and summoned friends to come and help. Especially so if on the premise that there was no external bleeding and an unconscious Maddie injury was not obvious Internal injury is not visible to the naked eyes without x-rays.

Let's say hypothetically Kate was alone with her when the accident happened, maybe the unconscious MBM didnt died immediaeely and still had a breathing, and a panic Kate phoned Gerry to tell him MBM had fallen, and say if Gerry already not on talking term with her, yet knowing at the same time KM was capable of slapping/striking Maddie when angry, and not realising the severity of the fall, had sent DP instead to check on Kate. When DP arrived he was obliged to examine Maddie and say maybe in that panic situation help was quickly summoned from next door ROB or maybe Russell, whoever was trained and expert in resuscitation of whatever was necessary in that kind of situation, then it could mean KM, GM, and maybe one or two of those already mentioned were at crime scene trying to resuscitate Maddie without realising she was beyond help or realising it was too late despite resuscitation. Maybe the fell produces no profuse bleeding but head injury or broken bones without external bleeding but only internal bleeding can be fatal and beyond help. Very likely Maddie didnt died immediately from the accident, but very shortly did despite the resuscitation efforts. Its quite normal for people not to die immediately from an accident but soon after despite being attended to.

Provided there was no blundered resuscitation and provided her fell was self caused then there is no reason for them not to summon the ambulance immediately or even afterward, after the failed resuscitation, because as you said, there is absolutely nothing wrong and not a crime for a bunch of doctors or even doctor friends to help to resuscitate a child who had accident. It would just have been an unfortunate accident and people would sympathise with the mccanns.

However, say if the accident was not self caused, friends who helped either didnt realise it immediately but found out or told only after the failed resuscitation that the fall was caused by her mum either from blow or medication, then can anyone imagine the consequences for those at the crime scene had they called the ambulance? Alright, granted in this scenario, friends could always leave the mccanns to face the music and say they were merely there to help, found out later her accident was not self caused, but helping Maddie was priority, and despite that it was too late and Maddie death nothing to do with them. At most, they will be considerably inconvenienced, held back while the police investigated the accident and the mccanns. It would also mean focus will be on them for a while, and it would mean them having to betray their friends - maybe that is something they didnt want to do because they knew the blow or medication, naughty deterrent, was not intended to kill her. Or maybe they didnt want their names to be associated in such a scandalous and shameful affair which will surely and inevitably appear in news headlines throughout the world for a very long time, with them remaining witnesses through a long and arduous trial of the mccans. Of course those would be silly reasons and lame excuses to hide for the mccanns.

But say, if they didnt want to report or couldn't because they'd blotched the resusicitation compounded by the fact that they'd prior knowledge before start of resuscitation that Maddie accident was not self caused, then can anyone imagine the consequences and repercussions for them had they called for an ambulance afterwards in this kind of scenario? I suppose if they were told it was not self caused they could always refuse to help the mccanns and asked them to call for an ambulance, but I'm inclined to think that being doctors, their natural instinct and first priority was to try and help Maddie by resuscitating her. Especially if DP was first to arrive on the scene, afterall he is not mccanns best mate for nothing. Would his first impluse be to ring the ambulance and report the mccanns or ask maccanns to ring the ambulance knowing very well Kate had said Maddie accident was caused by her blow or giving maddie an overdose, and the consequence that would bring for his best friend, KM?

It is still my belief they were unwittingly involved and couldnt untangled from the mccanns without repercussions for themselves, hence the cover up. Not because they wanted deliberately to cover up for the mccanns but went along the plan because they were inadvertently complicited by their goodwill help turn nightmare. That would explain why DP was the one announing they'd a pact of silent - a freudian slip maybe.
