In the recent Sky News report, the Sky news reporter Mr M Brunt reported what can only be described as a negative news item against Mr Jerry and its wife.
Mr Brunt stated that his walk from the Taps bar to the front steps of the M's apartment was ''80 paces and not as Mr Jerry McCann has stated.'''

McCann family spokesman Clarence Mitchell flatly denied that Mr McCann had lost a bag during the family's holiday.

Sky News stood by its story, which it said came from sources who had travelled to the resort after Madeleine's disappearance Police want to trace a blue tennis bag allegedly taken from Kate and Gerry McCann's apartment on the night Madeleine went missing. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Therefore, who is lying????
Will the McCanns SUE Sky News/News International for making scurrilous ALLEGATIONS, TIME AFTER TIME AS THE SKY NEWS HAS BEEN REPEATED MANY TIMES AND STORY CARRIED IN THE PRESS?????
Who do you think is lying???
If someone accused us of something that was not true = we'd ruddy well sue them and not settle for idle threats or even worse, just sit back!!!
So Clancy, is Mr Brunt stating the factual facts???????????

not heard the Sue word from team McCann for a while. maybe those threat tactics dont work for them anymore. perhaps their legal team have more important things to do at the moment.

Indeed!!!
However, these alleagations are deadly serious and deadly damning, so why no threats of suing????
This news report has casted even more serious doubt over the McCanns. Why is their mouth piece aka Clancy not making any threats, even idle one re suing Sky news/Mews International????
I think that the only way we may get to the truth will be if the McCanns sue someone.
As they fail to follow through on any of the threats, the allegations are likely to become more and more audacious and the failure to sue more and more inexplicable (assuming their total innocence of more than child neglect).
But their lawyers must be very anxious about what could come out if the McCanns were under oath in court.

The deo were supposed to be suing 'Ta' Haq' we believe and a couple of days later, Mr Jerry and its wife became OFFICAL POLICE SUSPECTS.
Then they were to sue the 'PJ' Then they were to sue a few more, but naff all.
However, these allegations are deadly serious and would tarnish the good name of anyone in these circumstances. If they are lies as Mr Herry appears to be stating via their mouth piece, they must SUE, Sky News to clear the air as Mr Brunt had been up to that point 100% behind the couple and now they are stating it is not coming up with the facts!!!
We beleive Mr Brunt, why should he make up a story???
Why are the McCanns not suing as this is one damn serious and deadly alleagtion that must be stopped in its tracks if it is not true!!!!

Thanks. However, this time Mr Brunt who could only be described as a 101% friend to the team MCamm up until that news report, reported what we can only describe as a death blow to Mr Jerry. The Mr Jerry camp denied Mr Brunts allegations.

Once again, Clarence doesn't give a clear response to an allegation!
Reading between the lines, what he says may actually be true IF the McCanns KNOW that the PJ are in possession of the bag! That way, the bag is technically not missing
it keeps a way open to the theory that eggman killed Madeleine in the appartment and carried her away. Jane Tanner will get an ophthalmologists opinion about her eyesight and everything is well.
more rumors, more theories, more red herrings means more room to spin and change statements.

I think Gerry was talking generically about the distance. It's an order of magnitude thing. The distance being 50yd or 70m (80 paces) is not material.
