Question for the McCanns.

Re: the private investigators hired by your team, your board of directors or your benefactor Brian Kennedy.

Metodo 3`s Antonio Jimenez who was a major part of your operations in Morocco has since been arrested for his involvement in a large drug smuggling operation.

Kevin Halligen of Oakley International, the Company referred to by Clarence Mitchell as "the big boys, the best there is in international investigation", has been arrested on serious fraud charges.

The Company, Oakley International, was not established and it was set up only prior to your requirements. Dave Edgar and Arthur Cowley, according to Clarence Mitchell, a team of crack detecives and of a company falsely named in many press reports as an impressive "Alpha Group Investigations", turned out to be a couple of retired cops, one of which set up the bogus company "Alphaig", not Alpha Group Investigations.

Alphaig was a one man band, a company set up on June 10 2009, once again just in time to suit your requirements.

The Company had a registered office of Arthur Cowleys cottage in Halkyn, Flintshire and despite being portaryed as a well established company with crack detectives who were to carry out an international investigation, and having allegedly been paid tens of thousands of pounds by the Find Madeleine Fund and the McCanns benefators, operated on resources of £650 cash and fixed assets of £853.

My Questions are therefore:

Who was responsible for recruiting these detectives?
Where the McCanns consulted about the hiring of these people?
Were references sought?
Were checks made to ensure that the companies were well established and credible?
Where company checks carried out to ensure the credibility of these companies and their ability to carry out the task in hand?
Who made these checks?
Who decided on the level of fees for these detectives?
Who paid the detectives?
Why did Clarence Mitchell think that these were "crack detectives" or the big boys"?
Where did Clarence get that information from?
Why did the McCanns say about Antonio Jiminez "he is nothing to do with us, not part of our investigation", when he was clearly a major part of the operations in Morrocco?
When the needed the public to contact their investigators why did the McCanns or Clarence Mitchell not correct the press when they constantly used the name "Alpha Group Investigations" in place of "Alphaig Ltd".
Were the team aware that the detectives employed had little or no experience in missing persons or child abductions?
Payments must have been paid to Alphaig Ltd. Were questions asked as to why not "Alpha Group Investigations"?
When did the team realise that their selected PI`s were of limited credibility?
