Danielle's Cancer Blog

Stephan has such HOPE.

Monday, will soon be here and Stephan is convinced the results will be negative. We are to go after this wonderful news and buy new sinks to celebrate…wine is already chilled in the fridge and Stephan will cook a wonderful meal and we shall be happy again.

Of course what he does not realise , the new sinks will not match the old baths, so…....

I, however do not have such hope. I have lost 4 kilos in a week, I feel sick and have pain in my pelvic area. Stephan thinks I have an infection and I hope he is right.

I found a poem and sadly do not know the author, but the words are beautiful and I would like to share them with you.

If the worst ever happens, I will leave these words for my wonderful husband who now cooks everyday for me, otherwise I would not eat.

“If tomorrow starts without me

and I’m not there to see

If the sun should rise

And find your eyes all filled with tears for me

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry

The way you did today

Well thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say

I know how much you love me

As much as I love you

And each time you think of me

I know you miss me too….”

You 4 kg in a week…...... but Unfriend Depression Your´s?

And the hard fight to help R. ? Hard fight but with sucess.

Stephan had HOPE;
T. had HOPE;
M. had HOPE;

3 good things always said Your MUM. You must beleive HER!

HOPE, Dani!
HOPE, My Dear Girl !

There is always hope Dani.

I firmly believe with all my heart the following: Every person is every moment moving closer to the end of their time here, and only God knows when a person’s time will come to an end. Life has discrete meaning, and there is another life that we enter when we leave this one.

Live Dani and go forward and do those thinhgs that God has placed you on this earth to accomplish.

I think it is hard for us cancer patients to genuinely accept good news – we used to trust in our health and that was taken so easily from us – so when we get good news now, we aren’t so quick to buy it – i think it takes time “i’ll believe it when I see it” kind of thinking.
You may have many battles in this war, but I do think you will win the war. Hopefully Monday will bring you good news and your battles will be ending, but if Monday’s news isn’t perfect, and you have more battles to fight to win the war, I have no doubt that you will rise to the occassion and you will, one by one, fight those battles and conquer this dreaded disease. Others have done it and you are a strong person – you will do it also.

Yow,Dani, this is a huge weight loss for one week. I am so impressed that you have the wherewithal to continue to write. I, too, hope that Stephan is right, and you merely have an infection that can be zapped.It is your turn for good news.
Love, Andrea

hi, dani. just wanted you to know that i will be praying for good news for you. keep hanging in there and take life one day at a time. God bless you and stephan. debby

I like that poem! Will be crossing my fingers for you to get good news. Please post when you find out. You are so lucky to have such a wonderful husband.

Dsni, if the whole world lined up for you to choose, you couldn’t find a better friend than Stephan to accompany you on Monday. He IS right. HOPE is what you cannot afford to lose!

Wishing you nothing but good news tomorrow. Take care.
